It is hard to find a single vintage Phoenix Gold 1979 proof coin. Very few complete sets (1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz & 1/8oz [1.87toz] Au) with the original Capital Plastics display were produced and ever fewer survived. Being from the 70’s the display has some minor abrasions/wear on the plastic (see photos) the coins are all mint uncirculated proofs shielded behind the case over the years.
