With only 3 known examples at this time this is truly a centerpiece for any Engelhard collection. Due to the quality/polished finish it is believed this variety was made for presentation purposes in a very limited production. Another interesting attribute of this bar is the sides/edges look very similar to production "P Loaf" Engelhard bars but is slightly more elongated at the odd weight of 14.90oz. The unique weight class might have been aiming to be just over 1LB (14.58oz). Due to the polished finish the bar had a perfect canvas over the years to create possibly the most stunning natural patina we have ever seen on a silver bar.
