The Homestake mine was the largest and deepest mine in North America up until it was closed in 2002. Homestake Mining Company was listed on the New York Stock exchange from 1879 until it was acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation in 02. For a limited amount of time Homestake produced poured silver bars for retail purchase and this is one of those rare examples
